Westside Electrical

You claim 40,000 completed jobs over 25 years. Your only ProductReview is a 2-star complaint that you "avoid a phone call," and Yelp lists you as closed.

The goal

Most Perth electrical businesses your size sit between $30k and $100k a month. If the goal is holding $100k consistently rather than riding the season, this is about the gap between those two numbers.

What we found

1

You claim 40,000 completed jobs. Your only ProductReview is a 2-star complaint you "avoid a phone call."

Checked directly, 10 to 11 Sep 2026: westsideelectrical.com.au/about-us/: "40,000 completed jobs" and "over 25 years of expertise" ProductReview.com.au: 2.0 stars, 1 review, "Extremely poor customer service. They avoid a phone call at [the booking and appointment stage]." (Brad) Yelp: 3.3 stars, 7 reviews, listing headed "WESTSIDE ELECTRICAL PERTH - CLOSED - Updated May 2026" Birdeye: 4.5 stars, 2 reviews

What it costs: Someone checking you out before they call sees a 2-star complaint about avoided phone calls and a listing that says you're closed, before they ever see the 40,000 jobs. The ratings don't even agree with each other across platforms, 4.5, 2.0 and 3.3 stars on the same business.

The fix: Claim and fix the Yelp listing so it doesn't say closed, and get a real review-request process going so the 40,000-jobs claim has visible, current proof behind it.

No stated response time anywhere, and a real complaint about avoided calls at exactly that stage

Checked directly, homepage and quote-form confirmation, 10 Sep 2026: no "we respond within X minutes/hours" anywhere on the site. Only language close to it sits inside customer testimonials ("quick response to my call").

What it costs: This is the same gap the ProductReview complaint points at directly, avoided calls at the booking stage. Without a stated response promise, someone who submits your quote form has no idea if that means an hour or three days.

The fix: Add a real, specific response-time commitment to the quote form and its confirmation message.

Your "$0 Callout" headline has nothing backing it up at the point someone lands

Homepage, checked 10 Sep 2026: hero leads with "$0 Callout With Fixed Prices" as the main headline. No review count, star rating, or years-trading proof point appears anywhere near it, those sit on a separate about-us page.

What it costs: That's a strong, specific offer sitting with nothing next to it to back it up at the exact moment someone lands. Pairing it with a real number, stars, review count, years trading, is what turns a good offer into a believable one.

The fix: Add your star rating or review count directly next to the $0 Callout headline.

2,100 people a month search "electrician Perth". You rank position 21 for it.

Ahrefs Site Explorer, Australia, 12 Sep 2026: "electrician perth", 2,100 searches/month, you rank position 21 on your own homepage, page 3, below the map pack and every competitor in the top 10.

What it costs: This is your single biggest, most commercial local search term, and it's the one most likely to turn into an actual booked job, not just information. Position 21 means you're already indexed and trusted enough to appear, just not high enough to catch the click.

The fix: This is the term to build your SEO push around first, before any suburb page. Your own homepage already ranks for it, it needs strengthening, not replacing.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.

I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.

If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.

If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.

Thanks,
Chris
